Carol Miller Bethers died September 18, 2010 in Montpelier, Idaho. She was born September 25, 1949 in Provo, Utah to William Elbert Miller and Ella Romney Miller. She grew up in Provo and went to Brigham Young Elementary School, Farrer Jr. High and graduated from Provo High.
She married Dale Bethers, June 5, 1969 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Provo a few years then moved to Heber City, Utah for 30 years and moved to Nounan, ID in 1998 until her death. Carol was active her entire life in the LDS Church. She had many callings in the ward, stake and region. She loved animals and raised llamas.
She is survived by her husband and 12 of her 14 children, Miguel Bethers of Provo; Monique Bethers of Phoenix; Daniel (Debbie) Bethers of Pelham, Ala; Natalie (Dave) Southwick of Salt Lake City; James (Jade) Bethers of Vernal; Brandon (Keisha) Bethers of Vernal; Asha Bethers of Logan; Cameron Bethers and Clint Bethers all of Nounan and Blake Bethers of Montpelier; brother-in-law, Dennis Adams of Salt Lake City; two brothers, Dr. William E. (Bill) Miller of San Diego, CA and Jay R. (Lynne) Miller of Sandy, Utah and 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Marilyn and two of her children, a daughter, Melissa, and a son, Darrell.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Georgetown LDS Church in Georgetown, Idaho with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to services. There will be a viewing the night before from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Matthews Mortuary in Montpelier, Idaho. Interment will be at the Georgetown Cemetery.
