CARTERET — Funeral services were held yesterday morning for Joseph Minue, a former resident of Carteret, who died from pneumonia in St. Mary's Hospital, Hoboken, on Friday. He was thirty-nine years of age and had been an employee of the Todd Shipyard Corporation. He lived in Carteret until two years ago when he moved to Hoboken, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Minue of Sharot Street, this borough.

The service took place from the Bizub Funeral Home in Wheeler Avenue. Rev. John Hundiak conducted a service there, sang the mass in St. Demetrius Ukrainian Church and also held the committal service at the grave in Cloverleaf Memorial Cemetery, Woodbridge.

Mr. Minue's wife, the former Verna Hixson, is in Tennessee and has not been reached with word of her husband's death.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Minue is survived by one son, Robert; two brothers, Sergeant Nicholas Minue of the Army and Michael of Edgewater, and a sister, Mrs. Ambrose Smith, of Newark.
