Rose M. Deep, of 17 Faxton St., entered into rest August 16, 1986 in her home after a long illness. She was born on May 27, 1913 in Utica, a daughter of the late Leah Abdou and Shahoud Mody. She married John F. Deep, Sr. in Utica October 26,1929. She was a member of the Utica Unit #229 American legion, a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles and a also a charter member off the 611 OBAM Space Br auxiliary. She was a Parishioner of St. Gonzaga Church. Besides her beloved husband, John F. Deep, Sr. she is survived by Robert P. Deep and wife Caroline Deep, Verona, David M. and wife Joanna Deep of Sauquoit: one daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Francis J. Madore, Sr. of Frankfort; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Joseph, Utica, a brother Peter and wife, Marion Mody. Sr.. New Hartford: nine grandchildren: eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and two very dear friends, Anna Bolton and Elizabeth Nemeth. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. from The Hobaica-Gigliotti Funeral Home. 1122 Culver Ave., and at 10 am. at St. Louis Gonzaga Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday evening. 2 -4 and 7 - 9. In memory of Mrs. Deep contributions to hospice Care, Inc., would be appreciated. Arrangements are by the Hobaica-Gigliotti Funeral Services, inc.
