Helen C. Momeyer, 89, of Youngwood, died Saturday, April 9, 1994, in Hempfield Township. She was born Oct. 14, 1904, in Somerset county, a daughter of the late William and Anna Mary Cornelius Connor. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Youngwood, Eastern Star of Greensburg, former member of the Youngwood Women's Club, and a former member and past president of the Youngwood PTA. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Momeyer; the following brothers: Walter, Edward, Lloyd and James Connor; and a sister, Leona Connor. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) Downs of Monroeville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Euphemia Connor of Latrobe. Friends will be received at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood, Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James L. Tubbs officiating. Interment to follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
