NORFOLK - Gilda ''Jill'' Bland, 62, died Nov. 30, 1995, in a local hospital.
She was born in Philadelphia and lived in Norfolk for the past 34 years.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Bland; a daughter, Cyndi, and son-in-law, Ronald Coburn, of Norfolk; grandsons, Brandon and Shannon of Norfolk, and Drew Bland of Ohio; three sisters, Mary Itri and Helen Martorelli of Philadelphia and Dolly Williams of Fredericksburg, Md.; three brothers, Peter, Albert and Joseph Monaco of the Philadelphia area; and a stepson, Jay Bland of Ohio.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and cootie Auxiliary Post, 3160 Ocean View.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Father Edward L. Richardson officiating. There will be a Christian Wake service at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, at 7 p.m. Sunday, with the family receiving friends afterward.
