Marguerite A. (Monaco) Cronin, 75, of Industry, died Thursday, July 28, 2005, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio, following a brief illness. Born Sept. 21, 1929, in Midland, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Marianna Mancini Monaco, she had been a resident of Midland and Industry all of her life. Mrs. Cronin had previously worked at the former Greens Brothers Grocery, Midland, and then as a secretary at Midland Auto Sales. She was a member of the St. Blaise Parish family, Midland, and the Christian Mothers and was past president and a member of the St. Anthony Club Auxiliary. She volunteered with VISTA and was a 1948 graduate of Lincoln High School in Midland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Cronin, in 1986; four brothers, Frank, Alfred, Vito and Anthony Monaco, and a sister, Ann Branchetti. She will be sadly missed by her loving family including two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Lisa Cronin Jr., with whom she resided, and James V. and Carol Cronin, Lisbon, Ohio; four cherished grandchildren, Carly, Teresa and Tomi Lynn Cronin, and Erica and her husband, Eric Davis; two great-grandsons, Michael and Matthew Davis, and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends will also miss her.
