HADDOCK: Betty Forsythe Monnette, 78, of Kitchens Road, died Friday, April 24, 2009, at a local nursing home.
Mrs. Monnette was born October 03, 1930, in Greensboro, North Carolina, and had lived in Haddock for the past twenty years. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Forsythe and Elsie Rayle. Mrs. Monnette was a member of Haddock Baptist Church and a retired bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her husband: Glenn D. Monnette.
Mrs. Monnette is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Randy and Barbara Monnette and Chuck and Cecilia Monnette, all of Haddock; brother: Bill Forsythe of Silver Springs, Maryland; sister: Martha Breeden of Orange City, Florida; seven grandchildren; and by eleven great-grandchildren.
