Allegra "Happy" M. Blea, age 90, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed into eternal life on September 6, 2016.
Allegra was born in Albert, New Mexico to Eusebio and Isabelita Montaño.
Happy was married to Eloy Blea for 54 years.
Happy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Jane Gaves, Dominga Trujillo and Porfie Montoya and brothers, Leonozo Montaño, Joe Montaño, Gabrial Montaño, Eddie Montaño and Joe-bell Montaño.
Happy is survived by her sister, Flora Baca, brother, Fermin Montaño, children, Marveen Manzanares (Donald), Patrick Blea (Carla), Lori Verschueren (Ron), Theresa Dalton (Joseph) and Danny Blea (Marie), eleven grandchildren, Patrick Manzanares, Tracy Blea, Daniel Blea, Audrey Blea, Allegra Tapia, Claudette Roybal, Melissa Meza, David Verschueren, Amanda Blea-López, Danielle Bryant and Laura Teshima, twenty-three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
Happy was an excellent homemaker who loved to sing and dance. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family. Happy graciously provided loving nursing care to various family members.
Happy's family would like to express a special thanks to Donald and Marveen Manzanares for the wonderful loving care they provided our mother for the last ten years of her life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at French – Lomas, Albuquerque, NM, with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:15 a.m.
