Virginia Lee Moody Bice was born 14 November 1923 at Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas. She was the second child born to William Clifford Moody and Mildred Ruby Elizabeth Scott Moody. The family moved shortly before 1930 to Riverside, Riverside County, California. Virginia met Ralph Bice at a roller skating rink while he was stationed at March Air Force Base. They married 31 August 1941 at Quartzsite, Yuma County, Arizona. Virginia came from a very close knit, loving family and was anxious to have a family of her own. She lost several babies before she finally was able to carry a child to term. She ended up being the mother of five children. Her life was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She was a very loving daughter, sister, mother and wife. She was dearly loved by her three daughter-in-laws and two son-in-laws. She was a lot of fun to be around and was a person you could always come to if you needed to talk. I can rarely remember a time when the home was not bustling with activity. Her children's friends and neighbors were always there and she always made everyone feel at home. She always had your favorite snack in the kitchen. Virginia passed away on 29 October 1996 at Kaiser Hospital in Riverside, California. She has been very missed.
