Mazie Chichester Moore, 93, of Warrenton, died Sept. 2 at Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Mazie Virginia Smith on April 2, 1912, in Warrenton, to Philip and Alice Smith. After completing the "then known" Fauquier County Training School, she married George Chichester, who died July 9, 1941. In November 1947, she married Winston G. Moore, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Thelma Moore of Manassas, Marian Virginia Chichester of Woodbridge, and Thelma C. Moore of Manassas. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 10 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 33 South Third St., Warrenton, followed by her funeral at noon. The Rev. Moyer Foddrell Jr. will officiate. Interment will be at Warrenton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Joynes Funeral Home, Warrenton.
