Dorothy Cordelia Moore, 83, of Aldie died May 21, 1998, at her home.
Mrs. Moore was born in Virginia on Nov. 27, 1914, the daughter of the late Frank and Octavia Dennis. She was the widow of the late Lewis "Webb" Moore.
She is survived by four daughters: Betty J. Appling of Madison, Ala., Patricia Monger of Barboursville, Marjorie C. Moore and Hope M. Morison, both of Aldie; three sons: Russell W. Moore and Prew T. Moore, both of Warrenton, and Dennis J. Moore of Upperville; 16 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. J. Richard Winter led a funeral service May 23 at Warrenton Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Warrenton Cemetery.
