Mrs. Melba Kay (Keller) Moorehead, 59, of Swifton died Friday, August 14, 2009. She was born December 12, 1949 at Newport, the daughter of Elvie and Dorothy (Walker) Keller.
Mrs. Moorehead was a member of the Family Worship Center in Tuckerman, and loved reading, helping others, and especially loved her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Moorehead; and her parents.
Mrs. Moorehead is survived by one son, Tony Moorehead of San Diego, California; two daughters, Renee Henry of Camarillo, California and Sherry Hartsell of Harrison, Arkansas; two sisters, Connie Pate of Melbourne and Mary Nagel of Tuckerman; four grandchildren, Kile Hartsell, Krestin Hartsell, Amber Merritt, and Bryce Merritt; and one great-grandchild, Liza Grace.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Monday at Tuckerman Family Worship Center with Bro. Joe Lancaster officiating
