Eva Rose Cornman, 86, Kittanning RD 2, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 1979, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

Born April 27, 1893 in Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Edward and Clara (Yount) St. Claire.

She was a member of the First Church of God, Woodward Avenue, Kittanning.

She is survived by two songs, Turney W. Gray of Kittanning RD 1 and Paul Gray of Kittaning, three daughters, Alda Gra and Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Karns both of Kittanning RD 2 and Mrs. William (Nellie) Hutchinson of Kittanning RD 1; two half-sisters of Steubenville, Ohio, 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands. Harry Gray in 1913 and John Cornman in 1977 and two daughters.

CORNMAN - Friends of Eva Rose Cornman of Kittanning RD2 who died Sunday, Oct. 7, 1979, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of God, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Snyder assisted by the Rev. Glenn Berry, pastor of the First Church of God and Rev. Dadid Skinner, pastor of the First Baptist Church, New Bethlehem. Burial will follow in the Kittanning Cemetery. Arrangments by Snyder.

She died as Rose Sinclair Yount, per cemetery records, her husbands obituary says her name at the his time of death was Rose (Sinclair) Gray-Cornman.

Cemetery records also give her parents names as Ormond C. Moorehead & Clarissa A. Yount.
