Grace Laura Comito, 88, passed away on Feb. 8, 2010 at Taylor House Hospice which would have been her 62nd wedding anniversary to our father, Anthony. Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 at Westover Funeral Home with a Vigil service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 66th and Douglas in Urbandale. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.

Grace was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. She was a North High graduate, a member of St. Pius Altar & Rosary Society and a greeter for the church. She and Anthony owned a family corner grocery store, Columbia Grocery, was a top Tupperware Saleswoman and had worked at Dahl's on Merle Hay until her retirement.

She will be greatly missed by many, including her children, Linda, Michael, Joseph, Maria and Regina; her granddaughter, Jade and her brother Domenic (Sandy) Morano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony.

Memorial donations may be made to her family, The Alzheimer's Association or Amanda the Panda.
