Mrs. Andy Burgess Dies Suddenly

Funeral services for Mrs. Andy Burgess, who died suddenly at her home early Sunday morning while preparing breakfast for her family, were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Houlka Methodist Church.

The Rev. Crawford Ray officiated. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery, with Houston Funeral Home in charge.

She was the former Miss Bonnie Morgan and had lived in Houlka most of her life. She was a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church, and a charter member of the Houlka American Legion Auxiliary.

She leaves her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Ty McNatt and Mrs. Curtis Blissard of Houlka; Mrs. L O Tallent of Pascagoula, Miss., and Mrs. E S Ford of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, John Burgess of Randolph, Miss., and Ross Burgess of Houlka.

She is also survived by five brothers, Johnny Morgan of Arkansas; Callie Morgan of Birmingham, Ala.; Joe P Morgan of Starkville, Charlie Morgan of Drew, Miss.; and Andy B Morgan, whose home is in the Mississippi Delta; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Riddell of Corinth, Miss., and Mrs. Lee Clark of Houlka.
