Betty was married to Paul W. Ahlstrom Sr. on Feb. 5, 1941 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Betty was a devoted wife and homemaker. Together, she and Paul raised 10 children. Her family has always been her greatest source of joy. Paul passed away Oct. 26, 1999.
An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Betty served as a Primary teacher while her children were growing up, and later as Primary and Relief Society presidents. She loved singing in her ward choirs from her youth, especially under her father Joseph Morley's baton. Betty served for 15 years, with her husband, as an ordinance worker in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She and her husband, Paul, served a mission in the Chicago, IL Temple from late 1992 to 1994.
Throughout her life, Betty supported community cultural, musical and political events. She was an avid Idaho Falls Tigers and Brigham Young University Cougars fan.
