Anna Daly grew up in the Idaho mountains, moved to Boise when she was 16 and married a guy named Harry Morrison. Together, they traveled the world after the 1914 founding of the Morrison-Knudsen Co. The company was a leading contractor for the Golden Gate Bridge, Hoover Dam, the Alaska Pipeline and the Egyptian Pyramids (just kidding about the latter).
