Mrs. Morrison, Wife of Former Governor Dies
Mrs. Grace Darling Mackey Morrison, 88, of 211 West State Street, and wife of the late former governor, John Tracy Morrison, died Friday morning at her home after a long illness. Her husband was the governor of Idaho in 1903 and 1904. He died in Boise on December 20, 1915.
Mrs. Morrison was born in Holland Township, Trumbull County, Ohio, January 11, 1866 and came to Boise from Caldwell in 1903. The family moved to Caldwell from Ohio in 1890. She was married in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1886, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, John Mackey Morrison of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Graham, Vale, Oregon; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services arrangements will be announced by Summers chapel.
