Lake Charles American Press, Monday, March 11, 1957. Charles Mouhot Funeral Services Scheduled Today. Funeral services for Charles Mouhot, 71, of 2606 Common street, were to be held at 4 p.m. toay at the Hixson funeral home with Rev. Paul Roberts of the First Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Mouhot died at 8 p.m. Sunday at his home after an illness of two months.
A carpenter, Mr. Mouhot retired about eight years ago. He was a charter member of Carpenters Local 953. Mr. Mouhot was born in New Iberia, but moved to Lake Charles about 55 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Laura Mouhot; two sons, W. C. of Port Acres, Texas, and Herbert of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. J.V. Capbell of Lake Charles; one brother, Henry of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Wilson Babin and Mrs. Rose Cormier, both of Lake Charles; 10 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
