MRS. JEAN CADOT MOUNTAIN BURNS, 95, of Huntington died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in St. Mary's Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, by Dr. Roger Rabey at Klingel Carpenter Mortuary. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Jean was born Nov. 26, 1907, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ralph W. and Mary Alice Pixley Mountain. She also is preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Burns, sister, Helen Mountain Taylor and brother, Ralph "Red" Mountain. Mrs. Burns is a retired kindergarten schoolteacher. She is survived by three nephews and their wives, Richard and Betsy Mountain of Ironton, Ohio, Tom and Vicki Mountain of Creola, Ohio, and Robert and Nancy Taylor of Willow Wood, Ohio; great-nieces and great-nephews Jessica Taylor Casey, Gretchen Taylor Roach and Seth Neal Taylor, and Maria, Cassie, Thomas and Greg Mountain; a great-great-niece, Kensley Casey and a great-great-nephew, Tanner Wade Casey.
