Mrs. Eloise M. Baker of Soperton died Thursday night, June 11, 2015, after an extended illness.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14 with Mr. Tommy Corbin and Rev. Mike Spivey officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Soperton.
Mrs. Baker was a lifelong resident of Soperton and was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mattie Black Moxley, her husband, Horace Baker, infant son, Lamar Boyd Baker; brothers, Barney Moxley, Lewis Moxley, and Chess Moxley, and sisters, Teny Wheeler, Wilma Webb, Vannie Lou Wilkes and Maggie Lee Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Soperton, and the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, June 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. and may be reached at 130 Pineland Circle, Soperton.
