He graduated from Tri-West High School in 1985 and later from I.U.P.U.I. He worked as a machinist for the Ford Motor Company for 18 years. Kevin was a member of Olive Christian Church, Paragon and the Cloverdale Conservation Club. A gun enthusiast, he was a member of the National Rifle Association.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Moxley.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy (Young) Moxley , to whom he was united in marriage September 28, 2001; children, Matthew and Molly Moxley, Elizabeth Schmoll; father, Ransal Moxley; brother, James Moxley of North Salem.
The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 3 p.m. Cremation will follow the service at the Morgan County Crematory.
