Mrs. Burton Dies at Home of Son

Mrs. Leatha Ann burton, 80, wife of Haswell Burton, died this morning at the home of her son, Major Burton, on College Heights. Mrs. Burton was a native of Stafford and lived there until a short time ago when she and her husband came here to reside with their son.

Besides her husband she is survived by five children, Major Burton, C. A. burton and Mrs. Dora Edwards, Washington: Edward Burton, Stafford, and Ira Burton, Nokesville: a sister Mrs. Carrie Curtis, Frederick, MD, and two brothers, Judge Moxley, Miami, FL and Daivd Moxley, Washington.

The body will rest at the Wheeler and Thompson funeral home here until time for funeral services at 3:00 pm Friday at Hartwood Church. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Leatha Ann Burton, wife of Haswell Burton, who died yesterday morning at the home on College heights of her son. Major Burton, will be held at 3 pm tomorow at Hartwood Church. Buriel will be in the Hartwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Allen McWhirt, Norris Johnson, John Smith, David E Burton, Roland Mills and J. R. Moncure.
