Son of R H and Mable C Bueller, Husband of Myrrah Harris, married 1/4/69. Killed in the line of duty as the West Fork Police Chief 3/20/1981∼Paul Mueller was the Chief of Police in West Fork, Arkansas. He served six years for the Police Force, dying in the line of duty at age 38. Chief Mueller pulled a car over on Highway 71. He suspected the driver being drunk behind the wheel. The car contained two occupants, who had just robbed the Pizza Hut in Fayetteville, Arkansas by gunpoint. Both suspects had a criminal history, one suspect had just been released from a Federal Penitentiary. While approaching the Vehicle, both suspects opened fire, striking him in the chest. Chief Mueller was still able to return fire and kill one of the suspects. The second suspect fled, but was shot and killed several days later in a shootout with Police Officers.
