Ernestina Dombroske, wife of Ernest Dombroske, was born May 4, 1861, in Shanow, Germany, and died at her home in Gladwin, Dec. 8, 1919, aged 58 years, 7 months and four days. Mrs. Dombroske came to this country in 1881. After spending some time in Wisconsin she went to Illinois, where she was married to Ernest Dombroske in 1883.
To this union were born 10 children of whom seven are left with the husband to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and a kind mother as follows: Ernest F. of Gladwin county, Mrs. Tena Vannatter, Mrs. Jessie Elwell, Charles O., Chris. W, George and Fred H., all of Detroit, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. Dombroske with their family came to Michigan in 1904, settling in Butman township where they lived until seven years ago when they came to Gladwin where they have since made their home.
Mrs. Dombroske's life was one of usefulness and those with whom she came in contact always felt they had met a friend and will miss, her in the days that are to come.
Funeral services were held at the home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock and conductd by Rev. Brown with interment in Ridge cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 12-11/1919 Column – 3 Page – 4.
