Bertha A. Mundell, 84, formerly of Frankfort, passed away at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at Beloit Memorial Hospital, Beloit, Wis.
She was a telemarketer for Kasper Broadcasting for 15 years, until she moved from Frankfort. She was a local distributor for Sara Coventry Jewelry, worked at Crellen eight years, managed Lord's Dress Shop, Catos, Clerk Discount, Val Thrasher's, all of Frankfort. She graduated from Frankfort High School in 1942.
Until moving to Beloit, Wis. in 2006, she was a lifelong resident of Clinton County. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Lafayette.
She was born Sept. 19, 1924, in Frankfort, to Irvin and Allie (Combs) Michner. She married Robert B. Mundell on Oct. 25, 1947, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 1999.
Surviving is one son, Ralph (Marilyn) Mundell of Beloit, Wis.; and one sister, Lavaun Wright of West Lafayette.
She was preceded in death one son, Robert Lemoine Mundell; three sisters, Gladys Neher, Vella Higinbotham and Ruby Emery; and one brother, Bill Michner.
