Born to Dennis and Hazel Murphy in South Amboy, she lived in Ogdensburg for the last 32 years.
Mrs. Carman was a parishioner of St. Thomas of Aquin R.C. Church in Ogdensburg and was a member of the Ogdensburg Recreation Association.
She was predeceased by her husband, George W. Carman, in 2002; a brother, Dennis Francis Murphy and a sister, Patricia Creed.
Mrs. Carman is survived by three daughters, Georgine and her husband, Roger Runnalls, of Wantage, Lynda and her husband, Horace Thompson of Tomball, Texas and Janice and her husband, Danny Strelec of Tomball, Texas; two sons, Patrick and his wife, Danielle of Ogdensburg; three sisters, Eileen Perdoni of Helmetta, Nancy Perkin of South River and Shirley Coudriet of Arizona; two brothers, Richard Murphy of Union Beach and John Murphy of South Amboy and four grandchildren.
