Funeral Services - Mrs. Sarah Boyd
The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Boyd, widow of Mr. D. H. Boyd, who died on Sunday night at her home, three miles south of town on the old Paper Mill road, will take place at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning from the house, and the remains will be interred in Mount Hebron Cemetery, this city. The services will be in charge of Rev. Absalom Knox, of the Southern Methodist Church, and Rev. Dr. Alfred Jones, of the Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Boyd was 63 years old, and her death was due to a complication of diseases. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Annie Hubbard, living near Winchester; Mrs. Luther Baker, of Welltown, and Mrs. Bertis Burner, of Grimes; one son, Mr. Walter Boyd, of Stephens City; one brother, Mr. J. E. Murphy, of Hedgesville, W. Va., and one sister, Mrs. Annie Hockman, of Hampshire county, W. Va.
