Mrs. Mutrie Passes
Mrs. Elizabeth May Mutrie, widow of the late A. Mutrie, who died a little over a year ago, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Ms. Floyd Arnold. She and her husband removed here several years ago from Winlock, Wash. Funeral arrangements have not been made. The body is at the Anderson mortuary.

Mrs. Mutrie's Funeral Held
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth May Mutrie, aged 60 and native of Iowa, who died Wednesday, were held Frida afternoon at the Anderson chapel Rev. Gabriel Sykes officiating. Interment followed at Idlewilde cemetery. Mrs. Mutrie, whose husband preceded her to the grave about a year ago, resided at Winlock, Wash., for nine years before moving here with her family several years ago.
The following daughters survive: Mrs. Floyd Arnold, Mrs. Wm. Zolls and Miss Gladys Mutrie, all of Hood River.
Another surviving daughter, Mrs. Stella McClure, lives in Puyallup, Wn. A sister, Mrs. R. E. Leribart lives at Napavine, Wash.
Elizabeth May Stroble was born at Calmar, Iowa, December 6, 1862. She was married at Grafton, N. D., in 1882 to Andrew Mutrie. A few years later the family came west to Corvallis, Ore., later moving to Centralia, Wash., and again to Winlock, Wash., where they resided for about 20 years. They had made their home in Hood River since the spring of 1919.
Mrs. Mutrie was a sufferer for the past three years and was a lesson in patience and love to everyone who knew her.
