Heart Stroke Fatal for Mr. Mutrie
Following funeral services, at which Rev. Gabriel Sykes officiated, the body of Andrew Mutrie was taken to Idlewilde cemetery for interment Sunday afternoon. Mr. Mutrie, aged 60, died suddenly Saturday morning of heart disease. He and Mrs. Mutrie had awakened and had been talking. Mr. Mutrie expressed a wish to take another nap before getting up. The fatal stroke came as he turned in bed.
Mr. Mutrie was a native of Elora, Ont., but with his family he had resided for many years at Winlock, Wash. He came here to live two years ago. In addition to his wife, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Stella McLure, of Puyallup, Wn.; Mrs. Floyd Arnold, Mrs. Will Zolls and Miss Gladys Mutrie, of Hood River.
