w/o W. EdwardDague, Patricia Louise Naumann, 70, of Triadelphia, died Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Wheeling Hospital and entered into the Arms of God. She was born December 24, 1940 at Triadelphia, a daughter of the late Curtis Baker Naumann (Apr. 11, 1902-May 8, 1965) and Marie Elizabeth Schaub Naumann (Oct 29, 1904-Feb. 1, 1985). Patty was a granddaughter of Charles Rudolph Naumann (Jan. 10, 1878-May 16, 1958) and Mary Rose Curtis Naumann (May 24, 1877-Apr. 22, 1945) and George Andrew Schaub (Sept 3, 1870-Sept 6, 1936) and Anna Kathrine Becker Schaub (Feb. 17, 1872-June 4, 1953). Patty was a 1958 graduate of Triadelphia High School in Wheeling. She was a former senior supervisor at Kelly Services, Wheeling from Sept. 1978 -- July 1997; in her youth, Patty was employed at Isaley's Ice Cream Shop and the Ohio Valley Coal Company; a member and Deacon and the Church Choir at Roney's Point United Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Official Board at Triadelphia United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She read the entire Holy Bible three times during her life. Patty served with honor as a West Virginia Notary Public 1991-2001. She enjoyed cake decorating and a strong love of reading books. Patty adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles Curtis Naumann and Jack E. Naumann; two sisters, Melva Miner and G. Vaughn Scott. Surviving are her husband, W. Edward Dague, whom she married Nov. 8, 1964, at Triadelphia United Methodist Church; two sons, James Edward Dague of Wheeling, Dr. Jerry A. Dague, M.D. and his wife, Kelli of Triadelphia; three grandchildren, Ashley L., Alexander G. and Emily Elizabeth Dague; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Anna Miller and her husband, William E. of Elm Grove; Mrs. Nancy Scott ofValley Grove; Mrs. Darlene Laudermilt of Mason, WV; Mrs. Shirley Walt and her husband Jack of Dallas, WV. Friends will be received on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 3 - 9 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling, WV, (304) 242-2311 where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Debra Dague officiating. Interment at Mount View Cemetery, Dallas.
