Mrs. Ballew passed away at the age of 85, and resided in St. Clair. She had previously lived in Grosse Pointe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Cooley, and later by her husband Witter Ballew. She was the devoted mother of a daughter and a son. Loving grandmother of a granddaughter and a grandson. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Avis Needham. She will also be missed by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, from the Ballew side. She was also predeceased by her son, Patrick Cooley. Arrangements by L.C. Freiderichs & Son Funeral Home.. In the spring the family will have a private family service.
