ARMS, MRS. PEGGY E. - age 79 of Maynardville, passed away Monday October 28, 2013 at her home. Peggy was a member of Old Rugged Cross Baptist Church and was preceded in death by husband, of 57 years, Leon Arms; parents, Robert H. and Gertrude Needham; brothers, Glen and Earl Needham; sister, Dorothy Scott. Survived by sister, Mary Ann Tharpe; and nieces and nephew and Peggy's special pet, Peanut. The family wishes to extend special thanks and gratitude to Kim Beaver, Ruby Dyer, Polly Bailey, Teresa Collins, Tessa Sherwood, Brenda Sweet and many other special friends. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday October 30, with funeral services to follow at 8:00 p.m. in Byrd's Chapel Rev. James Dyer officiating Pallbearers: family and friends.
