He ws the son of Ira Franklin and Eunice Mary (Matthews) Needham. He married Neomi Jones in California and Flora Marie (Horn) Nanney in 1973 in Johnston Co., OK. He was preceded in death by Darlene Foshee; his parents; his children's mother, Naomi Needham; and twin sisters, Eva and Evelyn Needham.
