Tatiana Vasilievna Nekrasov was born in Afognak Village, Afognak Island, Alaska, she was the daughter of Vasilii Epifanov and Irina Ivanova (Sorokovikov) Nekrasov. She married Isaac Hubley of Nova Scotia on 8 Oct 1869 in Afognak, its been said she only spoke Russian and her husband, Isaac, only spoke English when they married. She moved with her husband, Isaac, to Belkofski and later to Unga where it became her permanent home. She and her husband raised nine children in Unga: Irina, James, Isaac II, Mary, John, Alexandra, Katherine, Elizabeth, and William. She was well loved by her grandchildren. In her later years when vision was dimmed, her grandchildren would stop in to visit her each morning before school and she would know each one by the sound of their voice.

Tatiana is interred beside her husband, Isaac Hubley, in the Unga Russian Aleut Cemetery in Unga Village, Unga Island, Shumagin Islands, Alaska.
