Church Point, Louisiana Nolia Gallien Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet, LA., for Ms. Nolia Gallien, age 89, who entered eternal rest, Friday, November 4, 2011 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital, in Church Point, LA. Interment will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Lawtell, LA. Rev. Justin Arockiasany, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial.
Ms. Gallien is survived by her children, a son, Claude Gallien of Opelousas, LA.; three daughters, Patricia Ann Auzenne of Houston, TX., Mary Colomb and Rose M. Gallien both of Opelousas, LA.; a sister, Ursula Nero of Church Point, LA.; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Ms. Gallien was preceded in death by her husband, Simon J. Gallien; parents, Theogene & Menerva Nero; two sons, Frank and Kenneth Gallien; a daughter, Vera Gallien; a son-in-law, 5 brothers and 9 sisters.
Visiting hours will be observed from10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet, LA.
