Gladys M. Chinault
Gladys M. (Ness) Chinault, 68, of Seven Valleys, died at 7:15 a.m. Friday at her residence.
Mrs. Chinault was a homemaker, and she was the secretary of her husband's business, Austin L. Chinault Mason Contractor, for many years.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoverstown.
She was a member of Homewood Home Auxiliary and AARP.
Born in York Township, Nov. 17, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Ruth E. (Dehoff) Ness.
She leaves her husband, Austin L. Chinault, with whom she observed their 50th wedding anniversary June 27; two daughters, Barbara J. Senft of York and Tana M. Daughton of Spring Grove; two sons, Austin L. Chinault II of Spring Grove RD 7 and Stephen E. Chinault of St. Marys, Elk County; nine grandchildren; a sister, Naomi M. McFarland of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; and two brothers, S. Kenneth Ness of Shrewsbury and Clarence J. Ness of Seven Valleys.
Viewing is 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoverstown. The service is at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis Weidler, officiating. Burial will be in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, Glen Rock.
