Martha N. Bentivegna, 90, of York Township, died at 1:50 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Broadmore Senior Living Center.
She was the wife of the late Stephen D. Bentivegna. Born December 15, 1924, in York, she was a daughter of the late J.L. and Mary B. (Bair) Ness.
She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church, and was retired from JC Penney Company.
Mrs. Bentivegna is survived by a son, J. Stephen Bentivegna and his wife Belinda, of York; a brother, Frederick H. Ness and his wife Loretta, of Hanover; a sister, Helen Shue, of York; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Ness, of Baltimore.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, J.L. Ness III and Ervin B. Ness.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015, at Holy Saviour Cemetery, with her Pastor, the Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki officiating. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, Inc., 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
