Mrs. Elva A. Gibbs, 68, wife of Sterling R. Gibbs, 607 E. Philadelphia St., died Friday at 12:43 p.m. at York Hospital.
Mrs. Gibbs was born in Pleasureville, the daughter of the late Reuben and Lillie Richard Ness. She was a retired employee of Pfaltzgraff Pottery Company, where she worked as a finisher for 20 years.
Surviving also is a sister, Mrs. Charles E. Bailey, 551 E. Philadelphia St.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Everhart Funeral Home, East and East Market Sts. The Rev. Robert E. Zuver, pastor of Pleasureville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
