Clifford A. Ness Jr., Bismarck, died, Friday, October 26, 2012, at a local hospital. A Masonic Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 3, 2012, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.

Cliff was born in Berthold, ND, to Clifford A. and Agnes (Henrickson) Ness. He married Anna Laura "Pat" Gutensohn on December 27, 1959. Cliff served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1954, including service in Korea with the 24th Infantry Division 1951-1952. He also served with the Central Intelligence Agency in Vietnam from 1969-1973. He then served in various departments in the ND State Government until he retired in 1998. He became a member of the Masonic Lodge in 1962. Cliff was also a lifetime member of the ND Peace Officers Association.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the ND Peace Officers Association, or the Bismarck Masonic Lodge #5.

Cliff loved his family and country and will be deeply missed.
