Mrs. Elma 0. Bernard, 87, Missouri, formerly of Serena, died Thursday in Troy, Mo.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Larson-Gabel Funeral Home in Newark, with the Rev. William Landis officiating.
Burial will be in Norway Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today.
She was born Jan. 8,1893, in Norway, Ill., to Osmund and Ingeber (Johnson) Ness. She married Darwin Bernard on Nov. 1922.
She is survived by one son, Davis of Florissant, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Ada Grandgeorge of Milwaukee; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, four sisters, two brothers and one half-brother.
Pallbearers will be Floyd and Robert Ness, Robert Ugland, Terry Hanrahan and Daniel Sprowls.
