Services were held Aug. 4 at Brooklyn United Methodist Church in Brooklyn Center. Burial was in Mound Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Brooklyn Center.
Mrs. Newhouse was born June 30, 1915, in Sioux City.
She is survived by two sons, Oak (Beverly) and Steven (Diane); five daughters, Constance Nelson, Mary (Tom) Sims, Donna Holmes, Diane Slowick and Julie (Doug) Hills; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard.
