Mary Emeline Argabrite, 77, of Clendenin died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Select Specialty Hospital after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Minnie May (Ransom) Newhouse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Argabrite; brothers, Fred Newhouse, Dola Newhouse and Stanley Ransom; sisters, Virgie Shafer, Lucy Caldwell, Ruth Burdette and Sadie Skeen.
She is survived by her daughters, Lula Board of Summersville, W.Va., and Icie Burdette of Clendenin; two sisters, Vernice Burdette and Elizabeth Shivley, both of Charleston; two grandchildren, Jennifer Deal, and Jeffery Paul Board; two great-grandchildren, Makala Morgan Deal and Andrew Chase Deal.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Jerry Board officiating. Burial will be in the Peniel Cemetery, Peniel, W.Va.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2004, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin.
