She was the only daughter, disciple and collaborator of the famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, and assisted in the decoration of many of the works created by her father. She created the internal atmospheres of palaces Alvorada and Planalto in Brasilia, where the presidents of the country live and work, and also the National Congress, the Supreme Court and the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum. She next to her father designed a series of furniture that were exhibited in New York, Paris, Milan, Cologne and in Brazilian museums. In 1977 she inaugurated an art gallery, a traditional and renowned space dedicated to exposition and sale of Brazilian modern art works in Rio de Janeiro.
