March 1, 1932 - November 7, 2014 Mrs. LaSonia Nolan Wintzell, a native of Gulfport, MS and a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, November 7, 2014 surrounded by her six children who adored her. She was a natural beauty who carried herself with the utmost dignity and grace. Her greatest desire was to raise her children in the happiest of homes imaginable, together with our father, she succeeded unquestionably. Impeccable taste, LaSonia was known for her style and her ability to make all things beautiful. She demonstrated that until the very end of her life. She was a devout Catholic who at an early age, served mass before attending school. Even at 82, she was a lifelong learner, an avid Auburn fan, "WAR EAGLE" and being involved in the world around her. Selfless, she always, put everyone first. She was the rock of our family and the hope of our future. Mrs. Wintzell is preceded in death by her husband James Oliver "Sonny" Wintzell and parents Richard and Carrie Nolan. She is survived by her loving children Brad Wintzell (Valli), Debbie W.
