Mr. Francis David Nolan- age 87 - born in Lynn, Massachusetts and longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Monday, September 28, 2009 at a local hospital. Francis was a Navy Veteran of WWII and a graduate of St. Bonaventure University. He enjoyed a long career in sales. Francis played baseball and golf and enjoyed traveling and spending time with people and sharing stories. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and David Nolan and his cherished daughter, Kathleen. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Donna; loving children: Mary Jane Nolan Kelly, Michael Nolan, Elizabeth (Stephen) Beal, Eileen (Brian) Schneider), Dennis (Katherine) Nolan, Patricia (Scott) McDonald, Martin (Michelle) Nolan, Stephen (Doris) Nolan and Brian Nolan; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister, Marie (James) Williams and two brothers, Thomas and William (Elinor) Nolan. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Pine Crest Cemetery.
