KEWANEE - Ernestine Null Annett, 96, of Kewanee died at 4:14 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at Toulon Health Care Center. Born Oct. 25, 1904, in Platform, Ohio, to Otto and Nettie Burcham Null, she married George Annett on Feb. 8, 1930, in Toulon. He died in 1989. She also was preceded in death by one brother. Surviving are two sons, Jack (and Lois) of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Don (and Betty) of Sanford, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Forrest (and Alice) Lewis of Toulon and Frank Null of Sterling. She worked as a clerk for Montgomery Ward in Kewanee for many years. She was a member of the Kewanee Senior Citizens. She was a member of Kewanee First United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women and the Thelo class. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Schueneman & Tumbleson Funeral Home. The Rev. Dale Kooi will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to her church, Kewanee Senior Citizens Center or the Toulon Health Care Center activity department.
