The funeral of Mrs. Jennie Alexander, wife of Homer Alexander, of Shendun, whose death occurred at 9 o'clock Tuesday night, was held Thursday morning at Frieden's church. Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of Mr. Leonard Null, of Scott's Ford, at whose home she died. She had been a sufferer from consumption for some years and accompanied by her husband she went to the mountains of New York less than a year ago in the hope that the change would prove of benefit to her health. The trip helped her but little, however, and after her return home, she gradually grew weaker. Realizing that she had but a short time to live, she left Shendun and went to her father's home at Scott's Ford, where she ended her days.
