Margaret "Ann" (Null) Baumann, 79, of South Greensburg, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, at home, with her family at her side. She was born Oct. 24, 1928, in McKeesport Hospital, a daughter of the late Marion Null and Beatrice (Snyder) Null. For many years, she was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, in Youngwood, where she had participated in the church choir, Women's Circle 2, assistant stewardship finance, and taught children's Sunday school. She was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class and the New Stanton Choralers, later known as the Youngwood Community Choir. She retired from the Woodward/Hockensmith Foundry. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William R. "Bill" Baumann; two daughters, Deborah B. Engle and husband, Rick, of New Stanton, and Cathy A. Baumann, of South Greensburg; two grandsons, Jeremy D. Engle and wife, Kirsten, of Maryland, and Jonathan D. Engle and wife, Nicole, of Virginia; her great-granddaughters, Josie Breck Engle, Abigail Lynn Engle, and Jase Blaine Engle (due May 2008); a sister, Jane Spino and husband, Peter; and a number of nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark W. Baumann, on Nov. 1, 1979; and a sister, Bertha Null, in 1953. Friends will be received from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday at the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood. Additional visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the time of service, at Christ United Methodist Church, 100 Lincoln Ave., Youngwood, with the Rev. Chris Livermore officiating. Interment to follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
