OBITUARY :
MELVA NAOMI EICHELBERGER, 96, formerly of 17511 Dawn Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, September 06, 2005 at the Avalon Manor Nursing Home.

Born January 4, 1909 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Eavy and Bessie A. Baxter Nunamaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert N. Eichelberger on May 21, 1974.

She was employed in the office of The Hagerstown Shoe Company for fifty-eight years, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, and the Grace and Grit Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her devoted nephew, Irvin Ronald Nunamaker of Hagerstown, and nieces Debra Henson and Karen Kunkleman and families of Hagerstown.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Irvin Baxter Nunamaker in 1992.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
